“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:35-39 NLT Let us remember that God's love surpasses all things of this life. Nothing can separate the child of God from His love! We can rest assured in His faithfulness! He will not fail us and He will not forsake us! "....And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”” Matthew 28:20 NLT “....For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”” Hebrews 13:5 NLT Everything around us may be spinning out of control but He remains steadfast and secure. “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” Psalms 46:1 NLT We must not look at the circumstances around us. We must keep our eyes on Jesus!!! He is our hope and help! “We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield.” Psalms 33:20 NLT In the midst of all the uncertainty, let us rest in His unchanging grace. We are not victims! We are victors! “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT Peace is not the absence of trouble, it is the presence of God! “The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” Psalms 29:11 NLT Our joy is not based on circumstance. The joy we have rests in Him alone. “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NLT All that we need is wrapped up in the Lord Jesus Christ! We must rest in Him and know that everything is just fine!! “How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours!” Psalms 116:5 NLT Amen! Curtis R. Norris
