“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
(That's provision) He lets me rest in green meadows; (That is perfect rest) He leads me beside peaceful streams. (That's peace and refreshment) He renews my strength. (That's rejuvenation) He guides me along right paths, (That's righteous guidance) bringing honor to his name. (That's worship) Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, (That's hope in the midst of death itself) for you are close beside me. (That's faithfulness) Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. (That's protection from the enemy and assurance of safety) You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. (That's victory) You honor me by anointing my head with oil. (That's favor) My cup overflows with blessings. (That's abundance) Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, (That's the promise of mercy and relentless love) and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” (That's eternal life!) Psalms 23:1-6 NLT What a Psalm! So few words say so much!! (Parenthesis comments added) Is the Lord your Shepherd?
