I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.”
Psalms 9:1-2 NLT Praise Him today! Give God adoration and exaltation. He is worthy of all that we are and so much more! From the depths of our being let us raise the anthem of His greatness. Shout His Holy Name for all the world to hear. If we won't, the rocks will cry out. “When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!” But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!” He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”Luke 19:37-40 NLT Our Lord Jesus is worthy of the Highest praise. He is higher in rank, position, and intelligence than any other. There is no one else like Him. He stands alone as the Most High God, Elohim/Yahweh!!!!!!! In the above scripture reference (Luke 19, verse 38) the word LORD is capitalized! The New Living Translation, New American Standard, Amplified, and New King James Version all have it capitalized. The NKJV has it capitalized and bold! This refers to Yahweh. Jesus came in the name of Yahweh. He represented Yahweh to us in human flesh!!! (see John 14:6-11; Colossians 1:15; 2:9). “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?”John 14:6-9 NLT The Pharisees despised the people praising Jesus in equality with God. They were disturbed and upset that the crowd was ascribing this distinction upon Jesus. The crowd was correct. The Pharisees were wrong! Jesus is worthy of our best! He has demonstrated the Father to us. What great and marvelous things He has done!!! I feel like shouting right now! My soul stirs with contemplation of His Majesty!!! Great and mighty is our God!!! Are you willing to praise Him right now? Do it! Give Him praise! He is worthy!!!
