We will serve.

Joshua 24:15 says "Choose you this day whom ye will serve;...as for me and my house we will serve the Lord." What a statement. Joshua was saying to the nation Israel that they could choose who and what they will serve. He made a personal declaration. His house was devoted to serving the Lord. 
In a culture and society that, frankly, has chosen to forget God and do it's own thing, how refreshing it is to see someone declare, without apology, their devotion to God.  What we desperately need are men and women of godly character to rise up and be counted for the cause of Christ and His kingdom. Let us not be ashamed of our Lord or be compromised by the propaganda of this culture. We are here to be salt and light. The Father's business should be our delight.
