Lay the Burden Down

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”

God is eternal! The late Dr. S. M. Lockridge described God in this way: "The revenue of His resources never recede. The vigor of His virtue never varies. The prowess of His power never perishes. The wisdom of His Word never wanes"! Because of who He is, and what He can do, we can rest assured that He is able to take care of us. “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Whatever you are carrying today, lay the burden down at the feet of Jesus and leave it there. Rest in Him!
