Jesus Is the Answer

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers" ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:7 NLT‬‬

It is certain that the world is coming to an end. Peter tells us that it is soon. The word soon should cause us to consider it's implications. God is not affected by time. Time is a measurement within finite mankind. God is infinite (immeasurable). Time dwells within God. Time, to God is but a moment. In 2 Peter 3::8 we read: “But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.” NLT‬‬ Psalm 90:4 says "For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.” ‭God transcends time, yet manifests Himself within time. He, mercifully, has made provision for us to escape the coming judgment when He will pour out His wrath on the earth (see 2 Peter 3: entire chapter; the book of Revelation). God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked.  Ezekiel 33:11 says “As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?” ‭‭NLT‬‬ 2 Peter 3:9 says “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬ In Jesus Christ we have redemption and are safe from God's wrath. I Thessalonians 5:9 says “For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.” NLT‬‬ Are you ready for death or the coming of Christ? It behoves us to make preparations for the most definite thing in our lives: The End. This isn't doomsday rhetoric, it is Biblical prophecy. God's Word is true!!! Will you spend your time shrugging off this warning or will you make reservations for eternity? This demands an answer!! JESUS IS THE ANSWER!!!!!!!
