“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,”
Philippians 1:3-4 NLT Paul's thoughts about the fellow believers in Philippi were uplifting and encouraging. Their fellowship and support in the work of the Lord was a reason to thank God. This made Paul respond in joyful prayer for them. He had encountered plenty of opposition in the ministry and it was a tremendous blessing to have a church family that brought joy to his life. Are there people in your life that have been an encouragement and support in your walk with God? Have you often thought of them and had reason to be joyful? May we lift each other up to God in thankfulness as we journey this road of life. Our work in the Lord requires encouragement and support from fellow believers. Think of those brothers and sisters in Christ that have been a joy in ministry and lift them to God with thankfulness today.
