In Christ, We Win

But God will smash the heads of his enemies, crushing the skulls of those who love their guilty ways. The Lord says, “I will bring my enemies down from Bashan; I will bring them up from the depths of the sea. You, my people, will wash your feet in their blood, and even your dogs will get their share!””

The enemies of God and His children will have their day of reckoning. Though our enemies taunt and fight against us, the day of their defeat is definite. No matter what strategic advantages they may seem to have, God is the victor! From the top of the mountain peaks (Bashan in the above text) to the depths of the ocean floor, God is Sovereign! He cannot be defeated! There is no power of any kind that can overcome the all powerful Creator! No army has ever marched and no weapon has ever been developed that can defeat Him! He is the all time, undisputed, undefeated champion! He is the Captain of the conquerors, Leader of the legislators, Overseer of the overcomers, Master of the mighty, Potentate of the powerful!  The world may boast itself in its finite prowess but it will, one day, bow in worship to the One True God!  “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Lift up your heads weary saints. The war has already been won! In Christ, we win!!
