God Is Watching and Listening

 Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side— leaders whose decrees permit injustice? They gang up against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the Lord is my fortress; my God is the mighty rock where I hide. God will turn the sins of evil people back on them. He will destroy them for their sins. The Lord our God will destroy them.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭94:20-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What a question!! This same question needs to be asked in our spiritual, civic, social, and political culture. How can anyone claim that God is ok with slaughtering innocent unborn children or somehow accepts deviant, unnatural, abominable sexual acts? What about the politicians who routinely lie in order to gain constituents and obtain power, yet claim to know and love God? What about corrupt judges who impose unjust and evil rulings upon our society? What about the pastors who refuse to preach the truth from pulpits because they don't believe the Bible is the Word of God or they simply are afraid of losing congregants? God is watching and listening! He sees all and knows all! He is the One we must be concerned about. What does He expect of us? What is right in His sight? How does He want us to live? I only wish that every pastor, politician, judge, lawyer, doctor, law enforcement official, public safety person, and all other facets of our lives, performed their duties under the fear and honor of Almighty God! Men may hold influential positions of power for a period of time, but they will inevitably face their Creator and give account for their delegated responsibilities. God will bring all men to the place of judgment. Evil will not be sustained forever! The Judge of all will righteously determine the fate of all men. Therefore, we must live our lives in humble submission to His holiness! When the righteous rule, peace is the product! When evil men rule, chaos ensues. Listen to these verses: “The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed; they shout for joy when the wicked die.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding. When the wicked meet disaster, the godly flourish.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28:28‬ ‭NLT “When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “When the wicked are in authority, sin flourishes, but the godly will live to see their downfall.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ My prayer today is that God will bring down the wicked of our land and raise the righteous to power. I don't take pleasure in the death of wicked men. I simply want a righteous, safe, secure, and successful society. “As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die? “Son of man, give your people this message: The righteous behavior of righteous people will not save them if they turn to sin, nor will the wicked behavior of wicked people destroy them if they repent and turn from their sins.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭33:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬ (I encourage you to read verses  11-20). May righteousness reign and evil be defeated!
