Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.”
James 5:17-18 NLT Elijah was a man just like you and I. God is the same God to us as He was to Elijah. When we read the Biblical stories we, so often, exalt the characters to super hero status. Such is not the case. God is the Supernatural One. He is the power! We are human vessels that He chooses to use. When we have faith in God we are exercising trust in His character. He is able to do all things. Nothing is impossible for Him!!! Today, will you place the situation you are facing in His hands and trust Him to do what you cannot? God is Father to every genuine believer. He desires to act on our behalf. Like Elijah, let us pray earnestly to God. Then, let us watch God's Supernatural power do what is needed. "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT
