Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God. Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The old saying is "Actions speak louder than words". This statement is absolutely true. As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to portray Christ in our lifestyle. People see more than they ever hear. Jesus said it like this: “In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Back in the 1990's I went to a small engine repair shop. On the wall was a saying. I will never forget what it said: "I can't hear what you are saying for what I see you doing". In just that short visit, God spoke to me about the significance of my actions. Christianity is so much more than association with religion, a church, or tradition. Association does not equate salvation. Knowing Jesus has a direct impact upon a person's conduct. To know the God of Creation is the most transforming event anyone can experience. If we truly know Jesus, it will be evidenced by our actions.
