A Precious Faith

Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Jesus Christ, To those who have received and possess [by God’s will] a precious faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:” ‭‭2 PETER‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Peter makes his greeting to the suffering saints by reminding the believers that their faith in Jesus is precious. Jesus has graciously redeemed them and they are part of the special family of God.
We, too, as believers in Jesus Christ, are part of that special family. Let that settle your heart today. Rest in that fact. Revel in that reality. Stand strong in that statement of faith. Relax in the arms of grace. Be encouraged in that truth.
