Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:3-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Trusting God is an act of submission. When we trust we are acknowledging that the character of the person we are submitting to is worthy of our confidence. When we trust we also exercise faith that the person will do exactly what they say. Do you trust the Lord? I have trusted people that have let me down and I'm sure you have as well. However, I cannot recall a single time when I've trusted God that He has ever failed me. He is trustworthy!!! He does what He says. No promise of God goes unfulfilled. His character cannot fail. He will not disappoint us. Because He is eternal, we can have utmost confidence that He will always be there for us and will be faithful to take care of us. He created everything. He is the Sustainer and Supplier of everything. Is there something on this very day that is troubling you? Commit it to Jesus and trust Him! He brought you from there to here, He will take you from here to there. Don't trust in the temporary, uncertain things of the fallen world. They will certainly fail. Trust in the eternal God who has proven Himself faithful and let Him take care of it. His solution is right, best, and certain. Lay your life and concerns at the feet of the One who created you. He truly cares for you. He desires to bless you. He is your Father. If you are thinking of how you can "fix" your situation, let me remind you of the mess you created the last time you tried to "fix" things. Stop! Take a moment to pray. Ask God to have His way. I leave you with this question: Do you trust yourself, others, things of life, or do you trust God?
