“May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ —for this will bring much glory and praise to God.” Philippians 1:11 NLT
Knowing Jesus not only makes our eternal reservation, it also changes our character. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” NLT Jesus transforms. His presence in our lives dispels darkness and radiates the light of righteousness. We cannot truly experience the awesome presence of Jesus without a makeover. When He is invited into our life He moves in with renovation plans. He yanks out the old shag carpet, cleans out the closets, takes out the trash, remodels the place, and takes His rightful ownership. The person we used to be is dead. We are new. We should reflect the character of the One who resides within. When we behave like Jesus, we are demonstrating the very person of God!!!
