“Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.”
Romans 12:3-5 NLT We are to look at one another in the family of God as essential and valuable. All of us are adopted children from the orphanage of Satan and sin. None of us are here on our own merit. We all got here by the sheer grace of Almighty God. We have been chosen by the God of all creation to be redeemed and restored as part of His family. To share at His table, and enjoy the benefits of being His child, is nothing less than God's great mercy. Let's be always aware of the simple fact that none of us would be here without His loving kindness. Galatians 6:3 says “For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself."NASB. 1 Corinthians 10:12 warns “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.” NASB. Proverbs 16:18 says “Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.” NASB. Brothers and sisters, may we always experience the sense of wonder that comes with being a part of God's great family. We are here because of His love. Let's serve out of that same love. No matter what part you are in the body of Jesus Christ, you are loved and wanted by Him. Let's appreciate our differences rather than compare them. He has placed each of us where He wants us. Together, we can accomplish His will.
