For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death. He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near. Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.”
Ephesians 2:14-18 NLT Jesus has made it possible for us to be made right with the Father. It is no longer about whether we are Jew or Gentile or whether we keep the law or not. Jesus has ended the system of the law with its commandments and regulations (see verse 15). Romans 10:4 says it like this: “For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.” NLT “There is only one God, and he makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles.” Romans 3:30 NLT “So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.” Romans 4:16 NLT This make it abundantly clear that we cannot save ourselves. Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved. We cannot add anything to what He has accomplished. He was, and is perfect. He never sinned yet suffered as if He did for our sake. O what love!!! The very God who made us refused to leave us in our rebellion and sin. He became one of us to redeem us. I am totally incapable of articulating the height, depth, width, and length of such love. Jesus is God's love manifest. He stands with open arms and beckons to all "Come". He desires that all come to repentance. The choice is yours. He will not force Himself upon you but He mercifully calls for you to come home. Will you accept the offer of the ages or will you reject? God has given you that choice. Eternity lies in your selection. What a tragedy to live this temporary life and simply die without hope. He waits for you. I beg of you, turn to Jesus. Give Him your life. Only in Him can you truly live.
