“For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.”
Colossians 1:19-22 NLT What a statement!! God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ. This is as clear as it gets. Jesus was no mere man, He was God in a man's body. God became one of us, the human race, to die a substitutionary death on the cross. The shedding of His sinless blood brought reconciliation to all of creation. What we must realize is that Jesus death on the cross not only redeemed man from sin, but also everything that was lost in the fall. Adam's sin caused the curse to come upon everything God placed beneath his domain. In Genesis 1:26-28 God gave Adam dominion over the earth. When Adam fell to sin, everything under his charge was subjected to that curse. Listen to how the Holy Spirit says it in Romans 8:19-24: “For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it.” NLT One day, the curse will be lifted from creation: “No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him.” Revelation 22:3 NLT Thank God!!! Redemption has been purchased by our Lord Jesus Christ! His blood has paid the debt and removed the curse. Whether Jew or Gentile (non Jewish) we are saved through our acceptance of Jesus work on the cross. We must make the choice to accept or reject Him for who He is and what He has accomplished. For those who have accepted the offer, He has made us holy, blameless, and without a single fault! Did you get that? Holy, blameless, and without a single fault! That is stunning!! Do I hear a swell of adoration and praise? Can anyone say Thank You Jesus??? Shout it out right now wherever you may be. He Is WORTHY!!!!!!!
