In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The only thing that matters is Christ. The color of your skin, the amount of money you make, the church you attend, the place you live, the family line you come from, your height, weight, etc. are all insignificant. The only thing that identifies us is our relationship with Christ. If we know Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior we are children of God. If we do not, we are children of the devil. These are the only identities that matter. Going to a church service is a fine thing to do and I totally endorse the discipline of church attendance for the child of God. However, no one can call Jesus Lord simply because they are associated with a certain denomination. No denomination can save us. Someone may say "I'm a Baptist". Someone else might say "I'm a Methodist". Others may say "I'm a Presbyterian", etc.. As much as I respect "schools of thought", I must boldly say that Jesus isn't impressed by spiring steeples, church liturgy, and pious religiosity. What we all must come to the realization of, and conclusion, is this: CHRIST and CHRIST alone can save us and identify us as children of God. We can recite the creed, learn all the religious rhetoric, and be familiar with all the church "stuff" but if we haven't been truly "born again" we are a lost religious person and nothing more. Today, will you take a moment and ask yourself the question "Do I truly know Jesus?" If you truly know Him you are a member of God's family, the church. There is only one church. “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Christ isn't divided. Men may be divided but Christ is not. Men may have their own ideology but there is only one gospel: Christ and Christ alone!!! Do you know Him? If so, then let's follow Him and let's be His church!
