“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:18-20‬ ‭NLT
‬‬

Wow! What a great privilege to be God's children!! He has adopted us out of Satan's orphanage and given us His name! We are God's royal family.

I Peter 2:9 says this:  “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” KJV‬‬

Since we are His children, we are called to represent Him. We should be showing the world the likeness of our Father. After all, we do have His spiritual DNA. We are tasked with telling others about the good news of reconciliation to God. Because of what Jesus has accomplished, we are able to come back to God. Since we have been made right with God through Christ, it is now our responsibility to share this most glorious news with all of humanity. The arms of God swing wide waiting for those who are lost to come home. Let us be about our Father's business and live a life that displays His grace. All glory and honor be to our Savior Jesus Christ for His marvelous redemption.

If you are away from God today, simply turn your eyes upon Jesus, repent of your sin, and He will receive you.

God stands with arms outstretched, saying to the you, COME HOME!

Prayer for today: Father, in Jesus name, help me to know, with assurance, that I am Yours and help me live a life that brings others to you.
