“So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:16-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It doesn't matter if you are from Jewish or Gentile descent. It doesn't matter what color your skin is. It doesn't matter what your family lineage is. No matter what you have done, no matter where you came from, no matter where you've been, and no matter how rich or poor, Jesus loves you and died for your sin. Our national, financial, and social status does not change the realty that we have all sinned (see Romans 3:23). None of us are "qualified" to be acceptable in God's sight. We all need to be saved by God's marvelous grace. When we understand this simple truth, it levels the playing field. We are all sinners and we are all dying. The only remedy is through Jesus Christ. He alone can change our status. He can make us new. He can pick up the pieces and make us whole again. What a grand and glorious consideration that God loves us and wants us right with Him so much that He became one of us and died in our place as the perfect substitutionary sacrifice. He would rather die for us than to live without us. The choice is up to us. For those who choose to accept His free gift of eternal life, there is a total makeover. He transforms them into a new creation. The old man dies and is resurrected to new life.

(Check out Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 10:8-13; Romans 5: entire chapter).

Jesus came to make us new. If we have truly accepted His gift of salvation, we are a brand new creature. Praise God!!!

Prayer for today: Father, in Jesus name, I recognize and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you for giving me eternal life.
